For the first time in the history of the ISPU World Championship, the discipline IBGH (International Companion Dog Trial – Internationale Begleithundeprüfung) will be included in the competition program.

The event will be held as an IBGH-Special, requiring each participant to complete two runs at IBGH-3 level, judged by two different performance judges and supported by two stewards. One run will take place on a secondary field, while the other will be held in the main stadium.

The number of participants is limited to 48 starters. Registration, training sessions, and the veterinary check will take place on Wednesday, with the competition runs scheduled from Thursday to Saturday according to the official timetable. Each participant will complete their two runs on different days.

Further details regarding the exercise setup on both the secondary field and in the stadium will be provided. The specific variant will be announced on the respective day of competition.

Eligible to participate in the ISPU IBGH Special World Championships are competitors who have passed two exams IBGH3 with minimum of 85 points for each, or who have reached the title IBGH Special with at least 170 points. Qualification exams are accepted from the day following the previous World Championship closing ceremony until the deadline for the current World Championship set by the organizer.
